A collection of sports titles are just $26 at Walmart within Walmart's Black Friday week sale, including FIFA 22, Madden NFL 22 and NBA 2K22. NHL 22 is available for the same price at Amazon. The discount applies to mut coins the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch versions (if available) of each game, and runs until November 28.

FIFA 22 is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the sale that scored 8 points in our review earlier this year. It's true that FIFA 22 doesn't change much when compared to FIFA 22, and we aren't awestruck by the microtransactions available in Ultimate Team mode, but the football game is fun and the matches are fast-paced and player animations look fantastic through EA's HyperMotion technology.

As for Madden NFL 22 the game, we scored it a 7 in our review and called it "a new high point for the series," because of better and more varied AI teams, brand new features such as Gameday Atmosphere and Gameday Momentum, and an overhauled Franchise mode, which makes the interval between games more entertaining than the previous year's game.

We didn't go over NBA 2K22 or NHL 22 at the time, but both games have racked positive reviews from the media this year. NBA 2K22 sits at a 78 on Metacritic, and the general response is that the game's gameplay is excellent however it is hampered by technical issues and microtransactions for some of the modes.

NHL 22, on the contrary, was viewed less favorably, averaging a 71 % on Metacritic. As we noted in our review roundup for NHL 22, most critics praise the sport but not so much on the absence of mut coins cheap new ideas. The switch towards EA's Frostbite engine gives NHL 22 an improved visual experience over previous iterations, however.
