Especially at the beginning Madden 21 can be striking, especially for beginners. With these tips and tricks, however, you should find it easier to get started.

I'm a big Madden or football fan. Especially at the beginning Madden can be striking, especially for beginners. With these tips and tricks, however, you should find it easier to get started without enough MUT 21 Coins.

Controls a linebacker

The selected player is in the example of linebacker Mosley

Even if it will certainly provide for one or the other big play of the opponent at the beginning, it will raise your level to a better one after some time. You can better respond to pass/run plays and catch picks more easily (especially against human players), especially if you can guess the routes of the receivers. It's best to keep L2/LT with you, so that the LB keeps the view of the QB and you can stop the pass game more safely.

Watch out for your matchups

Anderson is in any case inferior to his size in this case

Before you or your opponent snaps the ball, hold L2/LT and watch the matchups of your receiver/defense. When you switch to the individual players with the right stick, you can see with four stats how big the chances of a successful action are. A distinction is made between Speed, Height, RT Run (Route Running) and Release." Speed and height should be self-explanatory. With fast players you have an advantage, the longer the route goes and the receiver can detach from the cornerback based on his speed, at Height you can throw high balls so that the receiver gets to the ball first. RT Run is especially useful for timing passes, because you can see how well a receiver can run its predetermined route and also adheres to it. Release indicates how quickly a pass recipient can detach from the opponent shortly after the snap, hence the word "start in", because it does not only mean entry.

Does not immediately press R2/RT for runplays

The temptation is of course great to hold on to running moves immediately after the ball is handed over R2/RT, i.e. race. But that makes you hit in the backfield a lot more often than you love, and that's because your O-Line and Tight Ends can't really block yet if you lose immediately after handover. So you kind of run past your foreblocker and the D-Line/linebacker eats you up. So be patient and run only when you've really discovered a gap opened by your O-Line.

Shipyard not hasty

Who doesn't know this: the passrush stands in your face and just waits to bury your QB under him. Quickly you panic and quickly push one of the receiver buttons, only to catch an interception. In such cases, let yourself be sagging! You lose a few yards, but you don't have to give up with an annoying turnover. In case of need tries to get out of the pocket and then push the ball away with R3/right analog. Just don't do this inside the pocket, otherwise you'll get an Intentional Grounding penalty pressed on the eye.

Uses the training mode

Even if it sounds boring, the training mode can help you develop route combinations and estimate how long it takes you to get the most out of a receiver. This gives you a better feel for moves and allows you to develop new plays with the help of audibles or hot routes. This makes it harder for your opponent to predict your plays, as he doesn't expect your new routes.
